Change your food-business name, setup or premises

Keep your registration details up to date when your food business changes.

What to do

1. Open SettingsFood business details as the account owner.
2. Choose Change next to the detail you need to update: food-business name, business setup or where you make food.
3. For a name change, enter the food-business name. For business setup, choose the appropriate setup and complete any company search or explanation requested.
4. For premises, enter the place where you make food and answer the premises questions shown. Check the address carefully.
5. Save the proposed detail. Read the change card, then check the council record for the new details when prompted.
6. If Around asks for confirmation from your council, use Send details to Around and provide the requested information.
7. Wait for the check result. If Apply changes is shown, review the replacement details and apply them when ready. Finish or cancel outstanding orders first if the portal requires it.

What happens next

The portal tells you whether the change is waiting for checks, information or your final application.

Good to know

Read the status shown for your account. A proposal can remain separate from the details currently in use; saving an edit is not always the final step.
