Pack an order and mark it ready for collection
Use Orders to confirm that a complete order is ready for the customer.
What to do
- Open Orders and find the paid order in the Open tab.
- Read the collection date and time, selected options and customer notes.
- Use the item packing checkboxes as you pack the order, where available.
- Open the order and choose Mark ready for collection once it is actually ready.
- If an early-fulfilment warning appears, check the collection date and confirm only if you intend the customer to see it as ready now.
- Check that the order’s status has changed to Ready.
What happens next
The customer-facing order status becomes ready for collection.
Good to know
Recording food as prepared in Prep is separate from marking an order ready. A future collection date can trigger a confirmation when you mark ready early.
