Set up payment outside Around
If you offer payment outside Around, explain clearly how customers should pay you.
What to do
- Open SettingsCheckout.
- Choose Update beside External payments.
- Read the notice explaining that Around cannot verify these payments.
- Enable Cash on collection, Bank transfer, or the methods you offer.
- Enter Instructions for customers, including what they need to do and when.
- Choose Update and check the saved summary.
- For orders using these methods, check payment yourself before treating the money as received.
What happens next
Customers can use the enabled external payment methods and see your instructions.
Good to know
The portal labels these orders “Paid externally (unverified)”. The current screen says how Around’s fee applies is still to be decided. Check that policy before publishing guidance that promises a fee treatment.
