Set up two-step sign-in
Add a code from your phone to protect your account as well as your password.
What to do
- Open SettingsYour account and find Two-step sign-in.
- Choose Set up authenticator. You can also start from Protect your account on Ready to sell.
- Follow the setup instructions to get an authenticator app on your phone.
- Scan the QR code with the app, or use the manual setup option if offered.
- Enter the six-digit code shown by the app and complete the setup.
- Check that two-step sign-in is shown as On. Keep access to the authenticator app for future sign-ins.
What happens next
Future sign-ins use your password and an authenticator code.

Around may require two-step sign-in for certain accounts or roles. Follow the requirement shown for your account. Treat the setup code and QR code as private.
