Add the label details for a prepacked retail product
If you sell a prepacked retail product, copy the relevant information from its pack.
What to do
- Open the item’s Food information.
- Under Packing, choose A prepacked retail product.
- Complete the ingredients, allergens, cross-contact and storage sections shown for the item.
- In Product label, enter the Name of the food, Quantity, and Food business name and address on the label.
- Complete Origin or provenance, Warnings and Nutrition declaration where required for that product.
- Check the information against the pack, confirm the checked declaration and save the item.
What happens next
The item includes the product-label information alongside its other food details.

The Product label fields appear only for the retail prepacked choice. Use the actual pack information and check what is required for the product you sell.
